In
addition to the vehicles on display, the Museum houses hundreds of various and
sundry classical items of the period such as fuel pumps, juke boxes, tilt
machines, soda dispensers, chocolate dispensers et al. While
several neon advertisement panels add to the lighting of the halls, many wheel
covers glitter the walls and giant posters adorn them. Around
each classical car there is a display of items, photographs, paintings, plaques,
documents, certificates pertaining to the car, an information panel displayed
in front
gives the technical data on each car and a write up on its credentials.
Special convex mirrors serve to reflect the front and rear of the cars. At
“A Block” where American Cars are displayed there is a bar and restaurant
designed as a replica of a fifties “American Diner.”
Behind it there is a collection of model cars. At the upper floor of “B Block” which houses European Cars, there is an English Bar made of warmer materials representing a more Continental taste, a Library of Automobilia, a piano, some collectors items and a miniature race track.
