1931 Ford "Model A"
Tudor Convertible

“Model-A”, which has replaced “Model-T”, affectionately called the “Tin Lizzie” which closed down in 1927, is an upgraded Ford, a downsized version of the luxurious Lincoln. A very stylish car with a small price tag, it enjoyed great sales volume.

It is said that Henry Ford made a proposal to the Turks: “Buy Fords only and let me rebuild all your roads.”

He did in fact build an assembly plant in Istanbul. But when the tax people tried to double tax him, he got frustrated and took it to Egypt.
