Ford
retaliated to General Motors’s Corvette by introducing the
T-Bird. An immense success that oversold the Corvette by 24 to 1,
what with those good looks and brute power. One of the examples at the
museum sold 16 155 units. This blue car was specially made for a
European Countess, therefore the speedometer in km's. In 1958 two more
seats were added to make the car larger and not so hot anymore for
sports car enthusiasts. Although the car sold for many more years the
55, 56, and 57 models are the ones that are
sought after collectibles.
