L\u00fcks ve performans\u0131 bir arada sunan otomobil, spor fikrinden uzak, kendi ba\u015f\u0131na bir s\u0131n\u0131f, bir ekol yaratt\u0131. Standart stilinin, s\u00f6k\u00fclebilen hardtop (fiberglas) tavan \u015fekli, tamamen Continental Mk II\u2019den al\u0131nd\u0131.    <\/p>\n<p>1954 Ford\u2019un Y-Blok motorundan geli\u015ftirilen 292 cu. inch (4785 cc) hacminde, 193 beygir g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc V8 Mercury motoruna, standart olarak 3 ileri vitesli \u015fanz\u0131mana, 4 bo\u011fazl\u0131 bir karb\u00fcrat\u00f6r ve \u00e7ift egzoza sahip. Orijinal modelinin m\u00fchendisli\u011fi, 1953 Ford\u2019un teknik adam\u0131 Bill Burnett taraf\u0131ndan yap\u0131lan T-Bird, 1955\u2019te 2,944 Dolar\u2019a 16,155 adet sat\u0131ld\u0131. Bu say\u0131, ayn\u0131 y\u0131l 2,799 Dolar\u2019a 674 adet sat\u0131lan Corvette\u2019in 24 kat\u0131yd\u0131.
