1955 Cadillac, 1954\u2019te yenilenen g\u00f6vdenin \u00e7ok k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck makyaj\u0131 ile tan\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131. 1951 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n ortas\u0131nda, Cadillac\u2019\u0131n \u015fef tasar\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6revini y\u00fcklenen Edward \u201cEd\u201d Glowacke, bu y\u0131l detay de\u011fi\u015fikliklerine a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k verirken, sonradan \u201cDagmar\u201d ad\u0131 verilen, \u00f6n tamponda mermi \u015feklindeki kromlar, ilk defa kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 1942 y\u0131l\u0131ndan daha belirgin ve sade hali ile ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131ld\u0131.
Dagmar, as\u0131l ad\u0131 Virginia Ruth Egnor olan, \u00e7ok fotojenik ve giyim tarz\u0131 ile g\u00f6\u011f\u00fcslerine \u00e7ekici bir g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc veren, 50\u2019li y\u0131llar\u0131n tan\u0131nm\u0131\u015f TV artistinin halk aras\u0131ndaki ad\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Tasar\u0131m\u0131n bu giyim tarz\u0131na son derece benzemesi dolay\u0131s\u0131 ile bu mermi \u015feklindeki kromlara GM literat\u00fcr\u00fcnde \u201cDagmars\u201d kal\u0131c\u0131 ad\u0131 verilmi\u015ftir. Cadillac, y\u0131l\u0131, pazarda onuncu s\u0131rada, fakat l\u00fcks otomobil s\u0131n\u0131f\u0131nda %44.8 bir pay ile kapatt\u0131. Amerika\u2019da kullan\u0131lan Coupe de Ville\u2019lerde 250 beygir g\u00fcc\u00fcndeki motor standart. M\u00fczemizdeki bu Coupe de Ville ise, Avrupa i\u00e7in \u0130svi\u00e7re\u2019de monte edilmi\u015f ve daha ekonomik olan 230 beygir g\u00fcc\u00fcnde ve 4-bo\u011fazl\u0131 tek karb\u00fcrat\u00f6rl\u00fc bir motora sahip. <\/p>\n

1955 de Cadillac, saatte 116 mil h\u0131z ile, en s\u00fcratli seri \u00fcretim otomobil oldu.
