Stiline, ba\u015fkan William Lyons\u2019\u0131n karar verdi\u011fi iki ki\u015filik roadster\u2019\u0131n tasar\u0131m kodu XK 120, daha sonra model ismi olarak kabul edildi.     <\/p>\n<p>1950\u2019de, 51 kg daha a\u011f\u0131r olan \u00e7elik g\u00f6vdeye ge\u00e7ildi. 1951 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130svi\u00e7re Geneva Motor Show\u2019da, 1938 SS100 Coupe\u2019nin ayn\u0131 profili ile, kapal\u0131 model Fixed-Head Coupe (FHC) tan\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131. 1953\u2019te de convertible Drophead Coupe (DHC) \u00fcretime girdi. M\u00fczemizdeki beyaz e\u015fi ile Amerika\u2019dan getirilen bu siyah XK 120, yar\u0131\u015f i\u00e7in hafif bir g\u00f6vde ile, Browns Lane, Coventry\u2019de \u00fcretildi. Amerika ve \u0130ngiltere\u2019de bir\u00e7ok g\u00f6steriye kat\u0131ld\u0131. Zaman\u0131nda, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en h\u0131zl\u0131 seri imalat otomobili olan XK 120 de, SS100 gibi yar\u0131\u015f konusunda ciddi bir rol oynad\u0131. 1949 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u201cBritish Racing Driver\u2019s Club Meet\u201d yar\u0131\u015f\u0131na kat\u0131lan \u00fc\u00e7 XK 120\u2019den ikisi, birinci ve ikinci oldular. 1950\u2019de Stirling Moss, Tourist Trophy\u2019yi; Lyons\u2019\u0131n damad\u0131 Ian Appleyard da 1950, 1951, 1952 Alpine, 1951\u2019de de RAC ve Tulip Rally\u2019lerini kazand\u0131lar. 1952\u2019de Stirling Moss, Jack Fairman ve Bert Hadley, Paris yak\u0131n\u0131ndaki Linas-Montlhery tur yar\u0131\u015f\u0131nda, yedi g\u00fcn yedi gece bir XK 120 coupe ile, ortalama 100 mph (160 km\/s) h\u0131z yaparak 168 saat i\u00e7inde sekiz kez
