Seri imalat\u0131na ge\u00e7ilen XK 120, \u201cX\u201d harfini \u201cexperimental\u201d (deneme) otomobil, \u201cK\u201d harfini motor tasar\u0131m modeli ve 120\u2019yi yapabildi\u011fi 120 mil (193 km) h\u0131zdan ald\u0131.    <\/p>\n<p>Tamamen yeni, d\u00fcz 6 silindirli, \u00fcstten kam milli (DOHC) 3.4-Litre (3442 cc) XK motoru 160 beygir g\u00fcc\u00fcnde ve yat\u0131k ikiz SU karb\u00fcrat\u00f6r ile 80 oktan benzin kullan\u0131yor. \u0130lk \u00fcretilen ve \u00e7o\u011fu yurtd\u0131\u015f\u0131na 998 Pound fiyat ile sat\u0131lan a\u00e7\u0131k iki kap\u0131l\u0131 (OTS) 242 arabadan sonra, 1950 y\u0131l\u0131nda g\u00f6vde; kap\u0131lar, motor ve bagaj kapaklar\u0131 al\u00fcminyum kalarak, pres \u00e7elik imalata d\u00f6nd\u00fcr\u00fcld\u00fc. 1951 y\u0131l\u0131nda Fixed-Head Coupe (FHC), 1953\u2019te de Drophead Coupe (DHC) Cabriolet tan\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131. Bu iki model, roadster\u2019lerden (OTS) \u00e7ok daha l\u00fcks donan\u0131ml\u0131 yap\u0131ld\u0131. M\u00fczemizdeki siyah renkli ikizi ile Amerika\u2019dan getirilen bu Jaguar\u2019\u0131n seri imalat olan ilki, Hollywood sinema artisti Clark Gable\u2019a verildi.
