29 Nisan 2004\u2019te, son otomobilini \u00fcrettikten sonra tarihe kar\u0131\u015fan General Motors\u2019un be\u015f markas\u0131ndan biri olan Oldsmobile, 1896 y\u0131l\u0131 sonunda otomotivin \u00f6nc\u00fclerinden Ransom Eli Olds taraf\u0131ndan \u00fcretilmeye ba\u015fland\u0131. <\/p>\n

1942 y\u0131l\u0131 modellerinin devam\u0131 olan, genel tasar\u0131m\u0131 Harley Earl\u2019e ait bu g\u00f6vdeler; ayn\u0131 motorlar ile, fakat, Oldsmobile st\u00fcdyo \u015fefi George Snyder\u2019in tasarlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 yeni panjurlar ile tan\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131lar.<\/p>\n

1950\u2019lere de damgas\u0131n\u0131 vurarak simgele\u015fen \u201cBal\u0131k A\u011fz\u0131\u201d tasar\u0131m, 1946, 1947 ve 1948 y\u0131l\u0131 Oldsmobile\u2019lerde tamamen ayn\u0131. 1947 \u00f6rne\u011fi, m\u00fczemiz otomobili Special Sixty 66 Convertible, en k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck fiyatl\u0131 Oldsmobile serisinden. Special Sixty serisi 119 inch (302 cm) dingil mesafeli \u015fasiye sahip. 66 say\u0131s\u0131, 6 silindirli, 68 say\u0131s\u0131 8 silindirli motorlar\u0131 belirtiyor. Sixty serisinin otomobilimizdeki motoru 6 silindirli Fire-Power, 238.1 cu. inch (3901 cc) ve 100 beygir g\u00fcc\u00fcnde. 3400 devirli motor, b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckte orta s\u0131n\u0131f olan Dynamic 76 serisinde de kullan\u0131l\u0131yor. \u015eanz\u0131man\u0131, Oldsmobile\u2019in standard\u0131, d\u00fcz, 3-ileri ve koldan vitesli.
