K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck yang\u0131nlarda \u00e7ok ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olan bu ara\u00e7lar daha sonra, 1918 y\u0131l\u0131nda Ohio\u2019da \u201cProspect Fire Engine Company\u201dnin \u201cDeluge\u201d markas\u0131 ad\u0131 alt\u0131nda \u00f6zellikle Ford i\u00e7in itfaiye arac\u0131 olarak \u00fcretilmeye ba\u015fland\u0131. \u201cDeluge\u201d o g\u00fcnlerin en pop\u00fcler itfaiye arac\u0131yd\u0131. 1919\u2019da da kap\u0131s\u0131 ve \u00f6n cam\u0131 olmayan tam yang\u0131n s\u00f6nd\u00fcrme donan\u0131ml\u0131 1 tonluk uzun \u015fasili bir Model T, Runabout g\u00f6vdesi ile, Ford\u2019un Highland Park fabrikas\u0131n\u0131n yang\u0131n s\u00f6nd\u00fcrme departman\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flad\u0131.   <\/p>\n<p>1917 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u201cModel T\u201dnin \u015fasisi uzat\u0131larak kamyon imalat\u0131 ba\u015flad\u0131. 1920 y\u0131l\u0131nda Ford\u2019un 1 ton kapasiteli kamyonlar\u0131na T-Truck veya Ton-Truck k\u0131salt\u0131lm\u0131\u015f\u0131 olan \u201cTT\u201d ismi verildi. Dakikada 250 galon su pompalayan Deluge ekipmanl\u0131 Prospect Model SL\u2019in arka tekerleklerinde 5 Aral\u0131k 1919\u2019dan itibaren opsiyon olan pn\u00f6matik (hava bas\u0131n\u00e7l\u0131) lastikler ve y\u00fcksek h\u0131zl\u0131 arka dingil kullan\u0131ld\u0131.   <\/p>\n<p>Ford 1924 y\u0131l\u0131nda, top arabas\u0131 tekerlekli bir hortum treylerini itfaiye ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n arkas\u0131na ba\u011flad\u0131. Amerika\u2019dan sat\u0131n al\u0131nan ve m\u00fczemizin tek kamyonu olan itfaiye arac\u0131, g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcz 1947 g\u00f6vde \u015fekli ile 1942 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u00fcretime girdi. Kamyonet modellerine \u201cTonner\u201d serisi, burunlu kamyon modellerine \u201cRegular\u201d serisi ve yar\u0131m burunlu olan, yani motoru \u015fof\u00f6r mahalli alt\u0131nda olan kamyon modellerine ise C.O.E. (Cab-Over-Engine) serisi adlar\u0131 verildi. Sava\u015fta da kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 dolay\u0131s\u0131 ile \u00e7ok pop\u00fcler olan bu g\u00f6vdenin en \u00e7ok \u00fcretilen 401 cm dingil mesafeli, 1,5 ton kapasiteli \u015fasisinin 2 tonluk ve 2-h\u0131zl\u0131 diferansiyelli modelleri de imal edildi. Arka tekerlekleri \u00f6ndekinden b\u00fcy\u00fck olan ve 6 adedi takviye, 18 yaprak arka makasl\u0131 m\u00fczemizdeki 798T dahil \u00e7o\u011fu itfaiye arac\u0131nda da kullan\u0131ld\u0131.
